As you are all putting the finishing plans together for your trip to Lough Key this July, CAMP101's Activity Staff have been hard at work learning new skills which will be used to give all Guides and Girl Scout the best experience at camp this summer.
Activity Staff came together in Lough Key from all over Ireland to meet their fellow team members, team leaders and get to know their activity which they will be running at CAMP101. I had the lucky chance to chat to Aine Foley from Newbridge Co.Kildare after the training weekend, to find out more about her experience at CAMP101's Training Weekend.
'When we got there all the activity staff lined up for registration and checked in. We then met with Catherine (Head of Activities) and her team, Jenna (Dublin) and Aoife (Newbridge). Catherine told us all about the weekend, before spiltting us into different groups for our 'Campsite Tour'. On the 'Campsite Tour' we were shown all the activities the Girl Guides and Girl Scout would get to take part in while at CAMP101. We also got to see our campsite and the tower where the bunting will be hung, once its collected from all members of IGG. We headed back for lunch and a little rest before starting our afternoon activity.
All donations are greatly appreciated so if you would like to make one feel free.
